End Date: 08 May 2016
Time: 12pm-5pm both days

This event will highlight the role of the city and region in the Second World War and especially the Battle of the Atlantic. This will be a partnership event and also coincides with the Royal Naval Association’s annual Battle of the Atlantic weekend. There will be a number of Canadian Naval Association members also visiting the city over this weekend.
Come along and see a number of displays in the Guildhall from the Museum collection as well as other contributors such as Royal British Legion, Base One Europe at Beech Hill and Bedlam. There will also be live war time themed music, vintage photo booth and kids activities.
In the Tower Museum there will be a series of talks over both days starting at 12 noon alongside displays and items from the museums collection including the U-boat albums.
In the Guildhall Square we will have a full size Spitfire on display. Hope aboard and have your photo taken! There will also be a fun interactive session on UXB Bomb Disposal with Jonny McNee.
